What is ICollective?
The Innovation Collective is part of Innovation City Cape Town, an invite & application only ecosystem and physical hub, which hosts over 60 tech startups, SMMEs, corporates, and investors, a community that is focused on providing a platform for growing technology and innovation in and outside of South Africa.
The Innovation Collective is Innovation City’s very own carefully curated and expertly executed Startup Booster Program. It is based on global entrepreneurship programs with an added distinctly African flavour.
On their way to glory, to find the optimal path, founders have to learn and become proficient in, well…a lot! The latest research even suggests that 9 out of 10 fail.
The Innovation Collective strives to vastly improve these odds.
Our Focus
Our focus is primarily on founders from previously disadvantaged communities that use technology as well as other forms of innovation to find tangible solutions.
Each of the 11 themed Mondays focus on improving a certain skill set, habit, or mindset. At the end of each themed workday, the founders will have actionable and implementable assets/tools, or methodologies to improve their company immediately.
Together with select Expert Advisors, Partners, and the Innovation City Community, startups are able to access the biggest network in Cape Town and beyond, while accelerating growth towards more sales and bigger teams.

Expert Advisors
ICollective cohorts are supported through informal content; talks, panels or round table conversations, and workshops which are provided by Expert Advisors (EAs).
These esteemed business minds share their years of experience in multiple domains, and proven track record. All content comes straight from their experience and is immediately implementable.

Innovation Collective is a tight-knit community of founders that have gone through our 11-day booster program. During the programme, the founders learn from Expert Advisors everything required to accelerate their startup.
