As the co-founder of Tripesa, he’s leading the charge in providing a comprehensive SaaS platform that equips these businesses with the tools they need to thrive in the digital age.

Tripesa offers a one-stop solution, enabling businesses to seamlessly build no-code websites, create booking pages, accept online payments, manage bookings, payouts, and other essential operations. This innovative platform empowers businesses to streamline their operations and grow at a fraction of the traditional cost.

Before founding Tripesa, David’s entrepreneurial journey began with the launch of Marketuganda.com in 2003. He further honed his skills in advertising and mobile payments as the CMO of Mobicash Africa, where he successfully led commercial growth across seven African markets.

With a deep-rooted passion for the tourism industry, David co-founded Roundbob.com, a travel tech startup in Uganda. This experience, coupled with his technological expertise, has shaped his vision for Tripesa.

Recognized for his contributions to innovation, David was named Uganda Innovation Achiever of the Year 2017 (MTN Innovation Awards), an Alibaba eFounder Fellow, and a member of The Africa List. He was also selected for the inaugural cohort of the IE Business School Social Innovators Retreat, highlighting his commitment to social impact.
