Innovation City is thrilled to share that Andy Hedley is stepping up as CEO of the Travelstart Group.

Andy joined Travelstart in April last year as Managing Director, fresh from his role as MD, Southern Africa at Amadeus. Since then, he’s been on a mission pulling together their travel brands (Travelstart, Club Travel, Flightsite, and SafariNow) into one powerful, unified group. He’s also pushed hard to grow their B2B offering and capabilities, laying the groundwork for what’s next. And now, he’s taking the wheel.

As for Founder Stephan Ekbergh, after a quarter of a century basically running operations, he’s stepping into a new role focusing on the broader picture; new initiatives, new bets, and the next chapter for the wider group.
