HANGAR49: Engineering Clarity in B2B Growth

At Innovation City, we love showcasing the builders who are reshaping industries with fresh ideas and bold execution. This month, we sat down with Alon Lichtenstein, founder of HANGAR49, to talk about how his team is bringing clarity, science, and humanity to the world of B2B sales and marketing. From their experimental roots to their vision for smarter, scalable revenue engines, here’s the story behind HANGAR49.

Q: Tell us how HANGAR49 got started.

HANGAR49 began with a simple question: What if work could be lighter, smarter, and way more human?

I spent years obsessing over the kind of systems that give businesses and teams back their time and clarity. I saw B2B sales and marketing teams drowning in noise, bloated tech stacks, and guesswork. So I started hacking together solutions; automating processes, simplifying outreach, and focusing on what actually moved the needle.

The name HANGAR49 is a nod to experimentation. Much like an aircraft hangar, we see our work as a place where ideas are engineered, tested, and launched.

Q: What’s your mission and what do you do best?

We help ambitious B2B companies build smarter, more scalable revenue engines. We call this go-to-market engineering.

At our core, we blend tech, systems, and human insight to take the friction out of outbound sales and prospecting. That means no more guessing, no more spray-and-pray tactics; just well-built, data-driven campaigns that connect the right message to the right buyer at the right time.

Q: How does HANGAR49 approach innovation differently?

We treat go-to-market like a science.

Innovation at HANGAR49 is not about throwing spaghetti at the wall, but about asking better questions, testing fast, and building systems that evolve with your business.

We call this engineering clarity. It means stripping away chaos, isolating the signal, and designing for what matters. That’s how we innovate; with a healthy dose of curiosity, structure, and guts.

Q: What are your core offerings or services?

In building an Audience Development and GTM Engineering practice, we help clients identify, source, and communicate with the right prospects. Right now, we are outbound lead-gen oriented, but we’re bringing inbound demand-gen into the fold.

We focus on three key areas:

  • Prospect record data: Constructing highly targeted prospect records based on company characteristics, triggers, and signals, as well as the right contacts within those companies.
  • Data enrichment: Standardising, sanitising, and enriching dated CRM prospect data to breathe new life into it.
  • Outreach journeys: Designing segmented, story-driven journeys to engage prospects meaningfully.

We also consult on sales and sales development through training, coaching, and mentoring—helping teams identify gaps, build frameworks, and roll out new goals.

There’s a lot of exciting work happening in this space, and we’re thrilled to be right in the middle of it.

Q: What are you working on right now that excites you?

Right now, we’re deep in development on some major upgrades to our outbound automation system, including enhanced personalisation logic and deeper intent-layered targeting.

We’re also piloting new AI-assisted campaign frameworks that let us go beyond scale and into quality at scale; more human, relevant, and effective.

And on top of that, we have a new website in the works (stay tuned!).

Q: What drew you to Innovation City?

We’d been circling Innovation City for a while, drawn by the energy, momentum, and calibre of people building bold things here. Friends, collaborators, and fellow founders kept nudging us: “You guys belong here.” When our lease came up for renewal, the decision practically made itself.

We wanted more than just a workspace. We were seeking a community of ambitious thinkers, builders, and doers. Innovation City felt like the natural next chapter: a place where creativity meets commerciality, where great conversations spark even greater outcomes.

We’re excited to contribute, share, support, learn, and grow alongside others who are as obsessed with progress as we are.

Q: What’s something about HANGAR49 people might not know, but should?

We’re not just outbound sales, we’re systems thinkers.

What sets us apart isn’t just our tech but how we think and approach problems. We obsess over details most teams don’t even see: segmentation logic, response loop timing, reply tone calibration. We believe the smallest inputs often have the biggest impact.

Behind the scenes, we’re a crew of mavericks who genuinely like working together. We’re a motley team of builders, analysts, designers, and storytellers. Global, remote, and unusually collaborative for this space.
