Q: Tell us about Nineteen58 and the problem you set out to solve.
We are an AI-native services company that builds custom AI agents for enterprise businesses. If you’ve ever lost the will to live while listening to elevator music on hold, you’ll understand exactly why we’re needed!

Q: Can you give us a practical example of how your product or service works?
Picture this: you need to call your insurer to change your plan. Usually, you’re met with a robotic “Press 1 for X, Press 2 for Y,” followed by a 30-minute wait to speak to a human.
Now imagine your insurer uses a Nineteen58 agent. You call, and the agent instantly answers:
“Hi [Your Name], how can I help you today?”
It knows it’s you because your number is linked to your profile. You explain what you need, the agent securely verifies your identity, accesses your account, and updates your plan right then and there.

Q: What are some of the challenges you’ve faced as a startup?
Our biggest hurdle was overcoming the dreaded “chatbot stigma.” We had to convince people that we weren’t just building another frustrating, rules-based bot that loops you back to the main menu.
Beyond that, building enterprise-grade AI means navigating incredibly strict data and privacy compliance requirements. We tackled this challenge directly to ensure our clients’ data is locked down tight.
Q: What’s new or exciting happening at Nineteen58 right now?
We’re actively growing the team and expanding our capacity to take on more clients.
We’re also going live with a couple of very large clients soon, and we’re looking forward to sharing more details once those launches are official!
Q: What’s on your business growth wish list?
